Trees of this variety grow vigorously and begin to bear fruit in the fifth year after planting. The fruits have an average weight of about 6 grams, a dark-red, almost black color and a sweet taste. The stone separates easily from the flesh.
The variety is cross-pollinating, therefore it requires the presence of pollinator varieties to obtain a harvest. The fruits are suitable both for fresh consumption and for processing.
