The tree of this variety is medium-sized, self-infertile, and requires pollinator varieties. The variety is characterized as high-yielding, but is sensitive to spring frosts.

Fruits are medium-sized, weighing 4–5.5 g, yellow in color, sometimes with a pink blush, and have a round or obtuse-heart shape. The flesh is juicy, tender, sweet with a hint of acidity; the stone separates well.

The variety is widely known in breeding as genetic material for developing new sweet cherry varieties.
