The tree reaches a height of 2.8–3 meters and has a flat-rounded sparse crown. The variety is partially self-fertile; for increased yields, planting in combination with other cherry plum varieties is recommended. It possesses high winter hardiness down to –30...–35°C, medium drought tolerance, and resistance to a complex of diseases.

The fruits are large, weighing 30–45 g, ovate in shape with red or maroon skin. The flesh is yellow, fibrous, and has a sweet and sour taste. The stone separates poorly. The variety is distinguished by the fact that the fruits do not shed when overripe and are resistant to cracking.
