The Mirmar 50 rootstock provides grafted trees with medium or low vigor, which contributes to early entry into fruiting and high productivity. In a number of cases, an acceleration of fruit ripening in grafted apricot varieties by several days has been noted.
The plant possesses high resistance to root rot caused by the fungus Rosellinia necatrix and is adapted to heavy and infertile soils. Propagation of the material is carried out by the micropropagation method.
