The rootstock was developed by specialists at the VÚOOD institute in Bojnice. It possesses good propagation performance: seeds have excellent germination and require less time for stratification than the seeds of the MY-BO-1 rootstock.
The main limitation in using this rootstock is its increased sensitivity to plum pox virus. Due to this, its use in horticulture has been limited.
