The rootstock is a vigorous tree with good anchorage, intended for use with plum and apricot. It is vegetatively propagated by hardwood cuttings and produces a moderate amount of root suckers.
The plant possesses resistance to root-knot nematodes, and partial resistance to Phytophthora, Armillaria, and bacterial root canker. At the same time, the rootstock is sensitive to lesion and ring nematodes, as well as bacterial canker.
It possesses good adaptation to medium and heavy soils, tolerates waterlogging, and has medium drought tolerance indicators. It has poor compatibility with peach, nectarine, and some almond varieties.
