The object is classified as a rootstock for grafting fruit trees such as apricot and other stone fruit crops. It is not intended for cultivation for the purpose of a commercial fruit harvest of the Myrobolan plum itself.

The rootstock characteristics include good survival rate and adaptability to various soil conditions, inherent to the species Prunus cerasifera.
