The variety ripens in the first half of July. Fruits are medium-sized, heart-shaped to round, skin color is dark red, almost black. The flesh is firm, dark red, juicy, with intensely colored juice and a characteristic aroma.

The variety is self-fertile, prefers protected, warm and sunny locations, is undemanding to soil, but grows better on permeable loams. The wood has medium winter hardiness, flower buds have high hardiness, however, flowers can be sensitive to frosts.

The plant is distinguished by high resistance to fruit cracking during rainy weather and Monilinia rot, but can be affected by the cherry fruit fly. In a number of professional trials, the variety was characterized by low yield.
