The tree reaches a height of 1.5–3 meters, forming a rounded crown of medium density. Fruiting begins in the fourth year after planting. The variety is self-incompatible; for fruit set, it requires pollinators such as the Vladimirskaya, Molodezhnaya, Lyubskaya, Apukhtinskaya, or Shirpotreb chernaya varieties.
The fruits are oval-cordate in shape, weighing 4–7 g, with dark red flesh and a sweet-and-sour taste. The stone is medium-sized and separates well. Yield varies from 12 kg per ten-year-old tree to 30 kg per twenty-year-old tree. The variety is suitable for mechanical harvesting and transportation.
The plant possesses winter hardiness, although the winter hardiness of the flower buds is assessed as medium. The variety shows high resistance to coccomycosis but is susceptible to infection by clasterosporiosis.
