The tree is medium-sized; the crown has a semi-upright, pyramidal, or spreading shape of medium density. The variety enters into production in the 3rd–4th year after planting and produces stable yields. The name of the variety is linked to the fruiting characteristic where berries are often arranged in clusters.

Fruits have a weight of 4.5–6 g, a rounded shape, and shiny dark red skin. The flesh is dark red, juicy, with a medium-sized stone that separates easily. The variety matures in the second half of July; fruits are suitable for fresh consumption and all types of processing.

The variety possesses high winter hardiness, withstanding frosts down to -32 °C. Resistance to major diseases is rated as medium; sensitivity to fungal infections such as Monilinia is possible. In some sources, the variety may be referred to under the name Balaton.
