The variety is a dwarf or dwarfing vegetative rootstock with an upright growth habit. Its use contributes to increased yield, larger size and firmness of fruits in grafted varieties, and ensures uniformity of tree development.
The plant possesses good adaptability to various soil types and is easily propagated vegetatively, for example, by softwood cuttings. In the first years after planting, trees on this rootstock may require the installation of supports to form a straight trunk.
The rootstock was selected as a natural mutation from the Weiroot 72 population and is an improved selection suitable for high-density orchards.
