The Vlasačka tree is characterized by weak growth and forms a sparse or conical crown. The variety has been historically grown on its own roots and is characterized by the ability to produce abundant root suckers.
The medium-sized fruits contain intensely red staining juice and have a pleasant sharp-sour taste. In a number of sources, the variety is mentioned in connection with the Ostheimská group of cherries, with which it can sometimes be considered a synonym or a closely related form.
