The tree is vigorous with good branching ability, sometimes described as small with a round or broadly ovoid crown. Fruits are medium-sized, round or slightly oval in shape, and their color ranges from red to dark brown-red.
The fruit flesh is very juicy, of medium firmness, the taste is sour, and the juice is colored red or dark brown-red. Flowering occurs in mid-late periods. The variety is self-fertile, has high yield, and is suitable for mechanical harvesting.
The plant has a certain resistance to Monilinia and Prunus necrotic ringspot virus. The variety is preserved in gene banks as an object of genetic diversity and has the synonym Vowi.
