The variety is characterized as remontant, which provides the plant the ability to re-flower during the summer-autumn period. Like other representatives of the species Prunus cerasus, the tree reaches a height of 2 to 8 meters and has a pyramidal crown, with leaves 5–8 cm long.

The fruits of the variety are traditionally used in culinary applications for the production of jams, syrups, candied fruits, and liqueurs.
