The tree is medium-sized or vigorous with a wide crown and drooping shoots. The variety is partially self-fertile; planting pollinator varieties is recommended to obtain stable yields. Yield is high and regular under favorable growing conditions.
Fruits are of medium size, weighing 5–7 g, oblate in shape, and colored in shades of red. The flesh is juicy, firm, with an aromatic sweet-sour taste and low acidity. A dry pedicel abscission is characteristic, which contributes to good transportability.
The variety has low susceptibility to moniliasis and viral diseases. It prefers sheltered, warm locations, as its winter hardiness is rated as medium.
