ActivePrunus domestica L. · European plum

The tree reaches a height of 2.5–5 meters and possesses a spreading, pyramidal-shaped crown of medium density. The harvest of this early-maturing variety falls in the period from the end of July to the first ten days of August.
The fruits have a round shape with a pronounced suture and a weight from 50 to 200 g. Upon full maturity, the skin acquires a burgundy-purple, almost black color with a waxy bloom. The flesh is sweet with a hint of acidity; the stone separates from the flesh with difficulty.
The variety is distinguished by high yield, requiring fruit thinning to avoid overloading the branches. It possesses high winter hardiness; however, in northern regions, it may show a tendency toward gummosis and frost damage to the wood.
