The Duranec variety tree grows vigorously, forming tall crowns that acquire a spherical shape with age. The fruits are spherical, with yellowish soft flesh of a fine consistency and a very sweet taste, though the stone separates poorly.
The variety is not a product of modern breeding and is often used as rootstock rather than for obtaining high-quality fruits. The produce tolerates transportation well and is excellent for processing.
1 jurisdiction
Green indicates countries where the variety is listed in the national catalogue and its seeds are authorized for sale. Expired registrations are marked separately: the variety was previously admitted, but sale is no longer permitted.
