The Empress tree is medium to vigorous, forming a crown of medium density. The variety enters fruiting 3–5 years after planting and is distinguished by high productivity. Ripening dates vary from early September to early October depending on climatic conditions.
Fruits are large, reaching a weight of 70–110 g, and have an oval or oval-rounded shape. The skin is violet-blue in color, and a waxy bloom is present. The flesh is yellow or yellow-green, firm, juicy, with good taste qualities. The stone separates from the flesh easily.
The variety has universal use; fruits are suitable for fresh consumption, processing, and are distinguished by good keeping quality. The variety shows resistance to a number of diseases, such as moniliosis and clasterosporiosis.
