The tree grows quite vigorously, forming a crown close to columnar. The flowers have resistance to spring frosts. The variety is self-fertile and does not require the presence of other pollinator varieties.
Fruits are of medium size, elongated shape, covered with thick dark purple skin with a gray waxy bloom. The flesh is yellow-green, juicy and firm, the pit separates easily. The fruits hold well on the branches and are suitable for mechanical harvesting.
The variety has low susceptibility to Monilinia and bacterial canker, tolerant to brown rot. A rather high susceptibility to Plum pox virus is noted.
