The variety was obtained by crossing the Fellenberg and Stanley varieties. The tree has moderate growth vigor, reaching a height of 3 to 4.5 meters. The variety is characterized by high yield and early onset of bearing.
The fruits are medium to large in size, oval-shaped, and covered with a bloom. The flesh is juicy, firm, yellow or yellow-greenish in hue, and has a sweet or sweet-sour taste. Under favorable conditions, the stone separates well from the flesh.
The variety is late-maturing; the harvest period falls between late September and mid-October. The plant has good resistance to Plum pox virus; however, in case of excessive rainfall during the ripening period, the fruits are prone to cracking.
