The tree is medium or vigorous, reaching 3–4 meters in height. It has a spreading, broad-oval crown of medium or high density. The variety is precocious, entering fruiting 2–4 years after planting. It is partially self-fertile; pollinators such as Stanley, President, or Bluefre are required to increase yields.
Fruits are large, weighing 70–80 g, sometimes up to 100–110 g, broad oval-round in shape. The skin is purple-blue or maroon-purple with a waxy bloom. The flesh is green-yellow or yellowish, firm and juicy, sweet with a tart flavor. The stone separates easily from the flesh.
The ripening period varies from mid-season (early September) to late (second half of September – October). The variety is distinguished by high winter hardiness and drought tolerance. The fruits are suitable for fresh consumption, freezing, processing into nectars, jams, compotes, or prunes.
