The variety was obtained in California as a result of breeding a seedling of the selected form UC 11,15-27, originating from the Burton and Yakima varieties. The medium-sized tree is characterized by a pronounced upright habit and high productivity.

The fruits are large or very large, oblong in shape. The skin is dark blue, covered with a grey waxy bloom and small lenticels. The flesh is amber, firm, juicy, with a pleasant aroma and sweet taste. The variety shows resistance to high summer temperatures.

The plant is partially self-incompatible and requires the selection of pollinators. The fruits are intended for fresh consumption and export.
