The Fruca variety is a columnar form of Prunus domestica. The plant possesses an extremely narrow vertical crown 60–80 cm wide and reaches a height of 2–3 meters with regular pruning. The variety is self-fertile, resistant to major diseases, and possesses winter hardiness down to -20...-25°C.
The fruits are medium-sized, oval-shaped, and dark blue in color with a bloom. The flesh is yellow, juicy, and has good stone separation. The harvest ripens in September. The variety is versatile in use and suitable for cultivation in small gardens or on terraces as an ornamental-fruit crop.
