The fruits of this variety are distinguished by their small size, attractive appearance, and good taste qualities. The tree forms a large crown, has high yield, and is relatively winter-hardy.
The disadvantages of the variety include the susceptibility of the foliage to fungal diseases, in particular shot-hole disease (clasterosporiosis). The variety has a weak ability to produce pollen and is characterized by male sterility, which makes it unsuitable as a pollinator.
The variety is practically not used in commercial horticulture, being of interest primarily to collectors of heirloom fruit crops and amateur gardeners.
