The variety is an achievement of Romanian breeding, obtained at the Research Institute for Fruit Growing in Pitești-Mărăcineni. The plant is intended for both commercial plantations and amateur gardens.
A key morphological and economic feature of the variety is a low percentage of flower damage during spring temperature fluctuations, which is confirmed by the results of agronomic studies.
