Variety description

The tree of this variety is characterized as dense, medium-sized, and vigorous. Fruits are of medium size, about 53 mm, and spherical in shape. The fruit skin is dark purple-red, pubescent, similar to that of an apricot.
The fruit flesh is light orange-yellow, very firm and juicy; the stone is difficult to separate. The fruits have a sweet and tart taste and high density, suitable for transportation. In the conditions of Central California, ripening occurs at the same time as the Red Beaut plum variety.
