Variety description

10 August 2026

The tree is characterized by moderate vigor and forms a well-branched crown of semi-upright or spreading shape. The variety enters bearing early and is self-fertile, although planting pollinators is recommended to increase yield stability. Flowers have relative resistance to spring frosts.

Fruits are medium-sized, weighing 38–48 g, and have an oblong-oval shape, dark-purple color with waxy bloom, and a stone that separates easily. The flesh is yellowish, medium-dense, with a sugar content of about 20 degrees Brix and low acidity.

The variety is intended for fresh consumption, culinary use, and processing. Fruits are resistant to cracking and Monilinia rot. Due to hypersensitivity to the Plum pox virus, the tree does not become a carrier of the infection, which allows the variety to be used in regions affected by this disease.
