The variety matures in the 15th plum week, approximately two weeks after the Presenta variety. The tree is characterized by medium vigor, an upright or semi-upright crown, and sturdy fruit wood. A distinctive external feature is the intensely red tips of young shoots.
The fruits are oval-ovate in shape, weigh about 40 g, and have a dark blue color with a pronounced waxy bloom. At full maturity, the flesh turns greenish-yellow and has a firm consistency; the sugar content is 20–26° Brix. The stone separates well at the stage of full maturity.
The variety is resistant to fruit cracking, neck rot, and internal cavities. It shows tolerance to Plum pox virus: symptoms are visible on leaves but rarely affect the fruits. Due to the late ripening period, protection against the plum fruit moth may be required.
The variety requires cross-pollination; Katinka, FRANZI, Cacaks Schöne, Topfive, and MONI are recommended as pollinators.
The right is granted for a limited term: propagation of the variety requires a license from the rights holder.
