ActivePrunus domestica L. · European plum
Walter Hartmann c/o Universität Hohenheim
10 August 2026
The tree is medium-sized or small, with moderately vigorous growth and an open crown. The fruits have an oval, sometimes teardrop shape, weighing about 30–40 grams. The skin is red-purple in color covered with a bloom; the flesh is yellowish, firm, juicy, and sweet.
The variety ripens in the second half of September. The tree is hardy but sensitive to spring frosts due to early or sensitive flowering; moderate susceptibility to Monilinia is also noted. It is self-fertile and serves as a good pollinator for other plum varieties.
