The rootstock is an interspecific hybrid, bred in the 1950s. Its primary purpose is to serve as a root system for peach, as well as for other stone fruit crops during selection trials.
The plant belongs to the group of rootstocks with medium-high to high vigor. Among the key features are good compatibility with grafted varieties and the ability to propagate by cuttings. At the same time, the rootstock is characterized by high sensitivity to iron chlorosis.
