The tree is of medium vigor, forming a compact spherical or oval-rounded crown of medium density. Shoots are slightly curved, dark brown, with short internodes. Leaves are large, oval, dark green with a matte surface.

Fruits are oval-rounded, large, with an average weight of 40 g; individual specimens reach 50–60 g. The skin is dark purple, covered with an intense waxy bloom. The flesh is amber-colored, tender and juicy. The stone is of medium size, separating well from the flesh.

The variety enters bearing in the 3rd–4th year. Fruits ripen simultaneously, usually at the end of July. The plant is self-infertile; to obtain a harvest, pollinators such as Волжская красавица, Ренклод тамбовский, or Этюд are required. The variety possesses high winter hardiness and relatively high resistance to major diseases.
