The tree is characterized by vigorous growth and forms a large, dense, bushy or broadly pyramidal crown ranging from 3 to 5 meters in height. The variety possesses good winter hardiness, including resistance of flowers to spring frosts, but shows susceptibility to the plum pox virus.

Fruits of medium-early ripening have a medium size (up to 35 g), an oval or ovoid shape, and a dark purple color with a bluish bloom. The flesh is yellow or yellow-green, juicy and sweet. The fruits are suitable for transport, fresh consumption, and various types of processing.

As a rootstock, seedlings of this variety contribute to reducing the growth vigor of grafted trees and earlier entry into fruiting compared to cherry plum seedlings. As a fruit tree, the variety is prone to biennial bearing and a reduction in fruit size in the absence of regular irrigation and pruning.
