The tree, 3 to 5 meters in height, has a conical crown prone to thickening. The variety enters bearing early, in the 2nd–3rd year after planting, and is self-fertile. The plant possesses high winter hardiness and is considered sufficiently resistant to most diseases, while exhibiting varying degrees of tolerance to Plum pox virus.
Fruits weighing 20–38 g have an oval or egg-shaped form and dark purple skin with a waxy bloom. The yellow or orange-yellow flesh is characterized by juiciness, firmness, and a sweet-and-sour taste. The stone separates well. The fruits are suitable for fresh consumption and processing, and possess satisfactory transportability.
