The variety was obtained in 1993 from the open pollination of the breeding line FGFD2. The tree is distinguished by high vigor, a semi-upright crown type, and dense foliage. Training and pruning of the tree are rated as easy.
The plant is self-pollinating and does not require cross-pollination for fruit set. Flowering is late, which allows for avoiding damage from spring frosts; the nut ripening period is medium—late August. The variety shows good drought tolerance but is sensitive to fungal diseases such as Phomopsis amygdali.
Productivity is high and regular. The nuts have a hard shell that protects against pests and birds, which reduces the risk of aflatoxin contamination. There is practically a complete absence of double kernels.
