Ibba is an autochthonous genotype of Prunus dulcis traditionally cultivated in Sardinia. The variety is not the result of targeted breeding, but belongs to the local gene pool which is studied by scientific organizations within the framework of biodiversity projects.

During studies, it was established that the oil content in the kernel of the Ibba variety reaches 64.47%, which is one of the highest values among local varieties of the region. The variety is characterized by an early-to-medium flowering period and is used as a fruit-bearing nut plant.
