The variety was obtained in 1994 as a result of crossing the Lauranne and Glorieta varieties. The tree has medium vigor and a medium-upright crown, easily amenable to training and pruning. The variety is self-pollinating, which reduces dependence on external pollinators.
Flowering occurs late, which protects the plant from spring frosts. The variety shows tolerance to the fungal disease Fusicoccum and medium resistance to Polystigma ochraceum. The fruits have a hard shell that protects the kernel from pests and birds, the average kernel weight is about 1.3 g, and double kernels are extremely rare.
