The variety is self-compatible, which allows it to be grown in monoculture orchards without the need for pollinator trees. Fruiting occurs primarily on the distal parts of the branches. The dormancy requirement is approximately 100 chilling hours, and flowering occurs approximately 10 days earlier than the Lauranne variety.
The kernels have a sweet taste, an elongated or oval shape, and a large size with an average weight of approximately 1.5 g. The shell is semi-hard. The variety is susceptible to diseases such as rust, powdery mildew, and Alternaria leaf spot; its susceptibility to the bacterium Xylella fastidiosa is also being studied.
