The variety is an evergreen shrub with an upright growth habit. A characteristic feature is the bright red young shoots, which contrast with the green foliage. In the spring, the plant blooms with white flowers. Without pruning, the shrub reaches a height of about 4 meters and a width of about 1 meter.

The plant is used for creating tall hedges, border plantings, and as a specimen plant in gardens or in containers. The variety tolerates pruning well, which is recommended to be carried out in the spring or summer period.
