ActivePrunus persica (L.) Batsch · Peach
Stat Exp South Haven (US)
10 August 2026
The variety was developed in the mid-1960s by breeder Claron O. Hesse. Trees of this variety are characterized by high vigor and prefer a moderate to warm climate.
Fruits ripen in August. They have yellow skin with a red blush, sometimes with a greenish tinge. The flesh is yellow, juicy, and has a distinct flavor. The pit separates easily from the flesh, which classifies the variety as a freestone.
