The tree has medium vigor, a spreading crown, and abundant foliage. The fruits are large, of an irregular ovoid shape with a pronounced suture and a protuberance. The skin is pubescent, light green with a bright red blush; the flesh is white, juicy, and firm, adhering to the stone.
The variety ripens in late September and is distinguished by a moderate sugar content with elevated levels of malic acid and vitamin C. The plant is hardy and adapted to local conditions, although it has historically shown sparse and irregular yields.
This variety is a product of folk breeding and was historically distributed in the Marsciano area. It is currently considered rare and is protected in agrobiodiversity collections.
