The variety «MORA DI MORIANO NOTTOLI» belongs to the group of traditional local peaches of Tuscany. The history of the emergence of such varieties in the region dates back to the end of the XIX century, and the variety itself is recorded in genetic resource registers as a specific line or clone.
Fruits of the «Mora di Moriano» group of varieties are distinguished by dark skin color, intense aroma, sweet taste, and firm flesh, from which the stone separates with difficulty. Plants of this type are characterized by relative resistance, however, they possess lower winter hardiness than commercial varieties.
