The variety was obtained by crossing the Gialla di Firenze and Fertile Morettini varieties. The tree is medium-sized, reaching a height of 3–4 meters, and possesses a spreading, rounded crown. The variety enters into fruit-bearing in the 2nd–3rd year after planting and is self-fertile.
The fruits are round-oval in shape with a pointed tip and weigh from 70 to 150 g. The fruit color is yellow with a red-carmine blush covering more than 60% of the surface. The yellow flesh is tender, juicy, and aromatic; the stone does not separate from it.
The fruits are intended for fresh consumption and processing. The variety possesses medium resistance to fungal diseases and medium to high winter hardiness.
