The variety was obtained by crossing the Gialla di Firenze and Fertili Morettini varieties. The tree is characterized as medium-sized or vigorous, fast-growing, with a spreading crown.
The fruit has a round-oval shape and an average weight of 70 to 120 g. The skin is yellow with a red-carmine blush and is covered with fine pubescence. The cream-yellow flesh is aromatic and juicy, however, the pit usually does not separate from the flesh.
The ripening period of the variety is very early; the fruit ripens by the beginning of July. The winter hardiness of the tree is medium, and there is relative resistance to diseases. The shelf life of fresh fruit is 3–4 days.
