The variety was obtained through selection from the parent form Sweetstar (open pollination). The tree is characterized by a low chilling requirement; resistance to major diseases and pests is claimed.

Fruit with an average weight of about 210 g has a sugar content of about 14.1 °Brix. The flesh is white, semi-freestone, with red pigmentation around the pit. The skin is colored a luminous red with a high percentage of dark purple-red blush.

The variety matures from July 24 to August 14 in the Eastern Pyrenees. The fruit possesses a long shelf life without loss of quality characteristics.
