Trees reach a height of 3–4 meters and have a characteristic bush-like habit. The plants possess relative resistance to peach leaf curl and adapt well to warm climatic conditions and permeable soils.
The medium-sized fruits are covered with pubescence and have a reddish or dark red skin. The flesh varies from whitish-red to dark red. The fruits are suitable for fresh consumption and culinary processing.
Plants of this group possess decorative properties, including beautiful spring flowering and red foliage coloration in the autumn period.
