Pêcher franc GF 305 possesses good vigor and high compatibility with peach and apricot varieties. The plant prefers healthy, well-drained soils and is better adapted to calcareous soils than common peach seedlings.
The rootstock shows resistance to certain nematode species, including Pratylenchus vulnus and Pratylenchus penetrans. At the same time, it can be sensitive to soil-borne pathogens such as Agrobacterium, Armillaria, or Phytophthora.
