Variety description

The plant is a compact basal rosette approximately 20 cm in height. Leaves are dark green with mint-green or silvery spots. Flowers are gathered in nodding inflorescences, blooming in April–May and changing shade during the flowering process.

The lungwort prefers partial shade or shade, as well as humus-rich, moist, drained soils. In a hot and dry climate, the foliage may be damaged by lack of moisture or excess sunlight. The variety is relatively resistant to deer browsing.

The plant is used in ornamental gardening for mass plantings, rock gardens, rockeries, shady areas, and for container cultivation.
