Variety description

The plant forms a dense, upright basal clump with semi-evergreen foliage. Leaves are dark green, lanceolate, and densely speckled with silvery spots. Flowers are gathered in dense scorpioid inflorescences situated above the foliage.

The variety prefers semi-shaded or shaded areas with humus-rich, moist, and well-drained soil. Possesses high winter hardiness (USDA zones 4–9). Has good immunity to powdery mildew, however, it is sensitive to soil drying out and excessive foliage moisture.
