Variety description

The plant forms a mound up to 50 cm in width. The leaves have characteristic silver spotting. Funnel-shaped flowers are gathered in nodding inflorescences and appear in the period from April to May.

The variety prefers semi-shaded or shaded areas with fertile, constantly moist and well-drained soil. The plant is winter-hardy in USDA zones 4–9, possesses resistance to powdery mildew, and can be evergreen or semi-evergreen depending on climatic conditions.
