The fruits of the variety are medium to large in size and have an elongated shape. Their skin is green and often covered with a bronze hue or russeting. The flesh is characterized by juiciness and a white color.

The tree is characterized by moderate vigor and a relatively early entry into the fruiting period. Early flowering makes the variety vulnerable to spring frosts. The variety is prone to parthenocarpy and needs pollinators such as Conference, Beurre Hardy, or Williams.

The variety shows relative resistance to scab and pear psylla compared to some other popular varieties. It is widely cultivated in Italy, Argentina, and countries of the Balkan region.
